CNC and machine control

When a machine is mechanically sound but its control is failing or obsolete, we retrofit new control: motion controller, drives, touchscreen and safety circuits. We also build control for one-off machines.

What we do

  • CNC control retrofits: new motion controller, drives and operator screen
  • Servo and stepper drive replacement
  • Machine safety circuits: emergency stops, guard switches and safety relays
  • Control panels for custom and one-off machines
  • Fault finding on machine electrics

Problems we solve

  • A good machine stopped by a control board nobody can repair
  • Drives and parts that are no longer made
  • Safety circuits that have been bypassed over the years
Control panels designed and built in our own workshop.

Questions

Is a retrofit worth it?

When the mechanics are in good order and only the control is failing, a retrofit usually costs far less than a new machine. We look at the machine first and give you a straight answer.
